This carved wood turtle bracelet is a perfect gift for the animal lover in your life! Mounted on a former black plastic belt buckle the bracelet includes a brown oval rhinestone earring and a woven leather buttons on the side with a leather tether. All attached to a ¾” brass cuff. Overall, it is 3 ¼” x 2 ¾” at it widest points, only about ¼” thick.

Thirty years of collecting vintage components have gone into this carved wood turtle bracelet... literally, there is nothing that could be found in a retail store today! The carved wood turtle is from the 1940s! It has a couple different stains to add detail to its shell, then I added vintage chains for accent; head up inquisitively. The eye is slightly raised for dimensionality. This is a low-level, light-weight cuff - easy to wear and modestly priced.
Something else to notice: I use tiny glass beads to make a caviar paste to hide any glue, unsightly findings, and in general enhance and strengthen the piece - it is something that takes extra time, and materials, but is the difference between looking ordinary or beautiful…
