Letters Home – A Traveling Man Writing Home Story

Whether it was for work or war, he was away and abroad, but his heart was never far from home.  He kept an image of her inside the stamp case.  A thimble has always been a symbol for hearth & home; there are coins from the British Isles, a Fleur-de-Lis button as a reminder of France, a souvenir from Ricordo Sant. Montella (Italy), a mother-of-pearl cufflink (she had the other hanging from a chain near her heart.)

Also, a delicately enameled pin, a hair barrette, a man’s tie clip laid on a maple leaf, lacey shoe clips, a writer’s guild plume pin, several kinds of old buttons, and old black glass marble.  So much to discover!                             Terry Munter Art Couture

This Statement piece is built on 2 ½” wide cuff; and rises approximately ¾” making the overall height 2 ½” and 3” from edge to edge at the center of the cuff.   It will slide down towards the hand on a 8” wrist to make it quite stable and easy to wear, but without adjustment it fits a 8” - 9 ½” wrist.
